I have an extensive background in both digital and print media, and a passion for new technology. Strong creative skills in typography and layout, as well as thorough technical skills in artwork. ART DIRECTOR - LIVE SPORTS EU

Prime Video is one of the top streaming video services with around 175M subscribers worldwide. Responsible for all sports marketing creative/design output to maintain creative excellence. Managing internal and external design resource to ensure all assets are on brand and are delivered to a high standard. Managing design output for Premier League (UK), Champions League (DE+IT), Ligue 1+2 (FR), Bundesliga (DE), Autumn Nations Series (UK), Roland Garros (FR), US Open (UK), ATP & WTA Tour events (UK). Working directly with producers/brand managers/live ops to analyse customer performance metrics, solving design problems by creating solutions to improve the customer journey/experience. After designing a new visual identity for tennis on Prime Video I worked with global tech and engineering teams to successfully automate Prime Videos entire ATP & WTA marketing assets across web, mobile and living room devices, saving the business over 500hrs of design and merchandising resource per year. I also re-designed and automated all live event match tiles across all sports properties saving the business around 1000hrs of design and merchandising resource per year. Active participant in many BETA programs for hardware, software and content launches.


PRIME VIDEO, AMAZON

SEPTEMBER 2015 - JULY 2020

VISUAL DESIGNER - LAUNCH MARKETING

Responsible for the creative output of Prime Videos top shows such as The Grand Tour, Jack Ryan, American Gods, The Boys and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Working with external agencies to optimise creative so it was suitable for Amazon’s many platforms and adhered to specific content restrictions. Developed and created Prime Videos first set of creative guidelines for external agencies. Was recognised with a time saver award for redeveloping the entire creative asset production method for all TV series/movie content. Owned the implementation and team training for the new project management software, and created automated reports and design schedules so all key stake holders and designers had the most up to date project information readily available. Mentor and manager to junior members of the creative team, and on boarded an off shore design team in Costa Rica which now manages all creative output across EU territories.

VISUAL/UX DESIGNER

Xbox is one of the leading players in the gaming industry with around 100M users worldwide. Creating engaging user experiences for Xbox One and Xbox 360 as part of the global programming team. Working closely with the Games, Music, Subscriptions and Entertainment teams to produce innovative and exciting content in multiple languages for millions of users. Partnering with games studios to acquire additional content to enhance the content on offer to customers. Using development kits (XUI) to build and test games/content before being published live to the xbox platform. Heavily involved with the launch of the Xbox One console, which involved working on highly confidential material.

Positive Image is a B2B agency with vast experience in creating cut-through content for enterprise. They are heavily focused on video, mobile and live content. Working with the in-house production team and senior account directors, I was responsible for storyboarding animation sequences and preparing assets for final production.

Open Sky is a full service integrated marketing communication agency specialising in business strategy, marketing, creative and digital services. I was working with some top technology brands like Orange, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Ricoh and CA Technologies. Designing sales and marketing literature in multiple languages, creation of flash animations and web banners. Design, build and spam testing of email campaigns and website design.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Amey is one of today’s leading public services providers in the UK. Liaising with clients and printers on a day-to-day basis. I designed various brochures and POS material for the Amey group and partner companies. In order to work on the restricted material for defence and scientific projects, I had to obtain full security clearance.
